Accessories for parasols

Once the parasol is in place, at Zederkof we have a number of different accessories to upgrade the parasol with. We have a large range of accessories with everything from parasol bases, covers, gutters, LED lighting, heaters to downpipes and weight sets.

Parasol base or casting?

There are two ways to anchor your parasol, either by casting it in or on a parasol base. Whether you should cast your parasol or simply buy an extra parasol base is often a question of preferences and usage situation.

You can advantageously cast our giant parasols down to increase stability, but a disadvantage may be that you are not as flexible in your design of your outdoor environment with cast-down parasols. Our parasol feet for giant parasols are very stable and also a safe choice. The smaller parasols can do well with a parasol base and possibly a set of weights, which can be purchased additionally for some of the models. Regardless, you are guaranteed a stable foundation for your parasol with both our parasol feet and cast-in, but we would always recommend that the parasol is cast in, as it is best in relation to the wind.

Which parasol base should I choose?

Depending on which parasol you buy, we have different parasol bases that fit the different models. We also have weight sets for our hanging parasols to ensure even better stability in the treacherous Danish weather. We have both parasol bases with and without wheels and in different materials and colours.

Nice to or Need to?

We do not want to judge what are indispensable and indispensable accessories for your parasols, but we would like to make recommendations on what you should at least consider when considering additional equipment for your parasols. Covering, for example, is always a good idea to consider, as it helps to extend the lifespan of the parasol. Although all our parasols are made of durable materials, they still need protection against the capricious Danish weather. See ours guides for correct maintenance of your parasol. In addition, a parasol foot or cast-in is necessary if you don't already have these.

If, on the other hand, you want to expand the usage situation of the parasol, you can advantageously use it as a frame around the summer fun when the evening falls, with the help of heaters and LED lighting. In other words, we have a wide selection of different accessories for parasols – it's just up to you to choose.
