Should You Choose Round or Square Party Tables?

The choice between round and square party tables depends on a number of factors, including the type of event, the number of guests, the space conditions, and the desired atmosphere. Here are some considerations that can help you make the right choice:

Round party tables:

How many can sit around the different sizes of party tables?

The number of people that can sit around our various sizes of party tables naturally varies depending on the type of chair you choose to combine with the party table, as well as how closely you want your guests to sit.

As a general rule, we recommend that there is never less than 60 cm of table space per seated guest – and preferably more if space allows. From the edge of the table to the wall, there should be a minimum of 75 cm, and if food or drinks are to be served, a distance of 100 cm is most appropriate.

For events with horseshoe formations, we recommend an opening of at least 150 cm to ensure optimal service for all seated guests. As a general guideline, these recommendations align well with our range of party tables, including our popular Zown New Classic plastic party tables.

Our party tables are exceptionally robust! Our party tables from Zown New Classic and Maxchief are all made of sturdy HPDE (high-density polyethylene) or polyethylene and feature a foldable frame made of powder-coated steel with a manual lock on the legs, which increases stability during use. The durable plastic also has high resistance to moisture and minor impacts and a very long lifespan. Our event foldable tables all have tabletops made of plywood coated with nitrocellulose lacquer, and together with the edge reinforcement, this ensures a very durable and water-repellent surface. The frame is made of powder-coated steel tubes.
