Which Grill Should I Choose?         

Which charcoal grill you should choose depends on several factors. How large a capacity do you want the grill to have, do you want a closed or open charcoal grill, how often will it be used, etc.

In general, charcoal grills require a bit more preparation than, for example, gas grills. The coals need to be ignited and burn for a while before they are ready. However, it is often worth the wait, as food prepared over charcoal can provide a completely different taste experience that many appreciate.

If you have ambitions to roast a whole pig and larger roasts or prepare food for many people, you should of course choose a larger grill with high capacity.

Closed or open charcoal grill?

Whether you should choose an open or closed charcoal grill depends on the usage situation. Open charcoal grills only emit heat from below and are best suited for shorter cooking of certain types of meat and ingredients, such as sausages and burger patties. In closed charcoal grills, the heat circulates around and is retained throughout the cooking process. Closed charcoal grills are therefore better suited for cooking, for example, roasts or other meats that require longer cooking times and thus risk burning on open charcoal grills.
