Zederkof is one of Denmark’s leading companies within flooring solutions for tents, which is why it is important that you carefully consider which floor panels and type you would like for your tent party. There may be many events where being outdoors in a tent is the ideal or most obvious solution, so you should keep the tent’s primary purpose in mind when choosing a flooring solution. The same also applies to the outdoor surface where the tent is located. These two elements are crucial when choosing flooring. It would be frustrating if the floor, or the lack of one, were to ruin your event or your guests’ party.

Which floor should you choose for your tent event?

Which flooring you should choose for your tent event depends entirely on two elements: location and use. Consider whether you are hosting a party where a dance floor is expected, or whether the primary purpose is simply to sit and enjoy a delicious meal. Next, it is of great importance whether the tent will be set up on a hard surface such as paving stones or asphalt, or whether it will stand on a soft surface such as grass, sand or gravel.

Wooden floors are the popular choice in these situations, as they are quick to install, function optimally on a hard surface and can also be supplemented with a tent floor carpet on top. The carpet has a sound-dampening and non-slip function, which will create a cozy atmosphere in any tent or party venue. Wooden floor panels can also be used indoors as a dance floor if you want to ensure a solid surface without wearing down the existing floor.

Plastic floor panels are also frequently used for very large areas. As mentioned previously, we can supply this type of floor panel in several colors, so you can find exactly the one that suits your event. Plastic floors can either be handled as panels or in rolls, according to your preference, making them very easy to lay out. They can also be used indoors if you would like to protect the surface, for example in walkways, concert halls, or similar areas.
