How robust is a foldable table from Zederkof

The short answer is: exceptionally robust! Our plastic foldable tables from Zown New Classic and Maxchief are all made of heavy-duty HPDE (high-density polyethylene) or polyethylene and feature a foldable base made of powder-coated steel with manual locks on the legs, which increase stability during use. The hard-wearing plastic also has high resistance to moisture and minor impacts, as well as a very long service life.

Our event foldable tables all have tabletops made of plywood lacquered with nitrocellulose lacquer, and together with the edge reinforcement, this ensures a very durable and water-repellent surface.

The frame is made of powder-coated steel tubing. Materials are one thing, maximum load capacity is another entirely.

Although it may not look that way, our Zown New Classic XL 240 foldable table for example a maximum load of 1,050 kg and even our Zown New Classic Cocktail Table With a diameter of 80 cm, it can handle up to 225 kg!

How many different sizes and shapes of foldable tables do we have at Zederkof?

Again, the short answer is: a great many! Shapes are straightforward; we have rectangular, square, and round tables. Sizes are another matter. We have everything from small to medium and large foldable tables, so you are very likely to find a foldable table that suits your needs. If your needs are a little smaller and you are looking for intimate table settings, we have tables in Ø120 or 90×90, if a slightly larger capacity is needed, we have foldable tables up to 240 cm. Additionally, you have the option of connecting several of Zown’s foldable tables using a smart, patented locking system.

How many people can sit around the different sizes of foldable tables?

The number of people who can sit around the different sizes of foldable tables naturally depends largely on the type of chair you choose to use with a foldable table, as well as how closely your guests should sit. As a general rule, there should never be less than 60 cm of table space per seated guest – preferably more, if possible. There should be a minimum of 75 cm from the edge of the table to the wall, and 100 cm is most appropriate when serving. For horseshoe formations, the opening should be at least 150 cm wide to ensure optimal serving for all seated guests.

A general recommendation is that the following estimates are suitable for our Zown New Classic foldable table in plastic:

• Foldable table at L120: 4 people, 6 people including the table ends
• Foldable table at L150: 4 people, 6 people including the table ends
• Foldable table L180: 6 people, 8 people including the table ends
