Accessories for parasols

Once the parasol is in place, we at Zederkof have a range of different accessories to upgrade the parasol with. We have a large selection of accessories including parasol bases, covers, gutters, LED lighting, heaters, as well as ground sockets and weight sets.

Parasol base or embedding?

There are two ways to anchor your parasol, either by casting it in concrete or using a parasol base. Whether you should cast your parasol in concrete or simply buy a parasol base is often a matter of preference and usage situation.

It can be advantageous to cast our giant parasols in concrete to increase stability, but a disadvantage may be that you are not as flexible in arranging your outdoor environment with cast-in-place parasols. Our parasol bases for giant parasols are very stable and also a safe choice. The smaller parasols can manage with a parasol base and possibly a weight set, which can be purchased for some of the models. Either way, you are ensured a stable foundation for your parasol with both our parasol bases and casting in concrete, but we will always recommend that the parasol is cast in concrete, as it is best in relation to the wind.

Which parasol base should I choose?

Depending on which parasol you buy, we have different parasol bases that fit the various models. For our hanging parasols, we also have weight sets to ensure even better stability in the tricky Danish weather. We have parasol bases both with and without wheels as well as in different materials and colors.

Nice or Need to?

We will not judge what is indispensable and dispensable accessory for your parasols, but we would like to offer recommendations on what you should at least consider regarding extra equipment for your parasols. Covers, for example, are always a good idea to consider, as they help extend the lifespan of the parasol. Although all our parasols are made of durable materials, they still need protection against the unpredictable Danish weather. See our guides for proper maintenance of your parasol. Additionally, a parasol base or embedding is necessary if you do not already have these.

If, on the other hand, you wish to extend the usage situation of the parasol, you can advantageously use it as a frame around the summer coziness when the evening falls, with the help of heaters and LED lighting. In other words, we have a wide selection of various accessories for parasols – it is just up to you to choose.
