Product description
Chaise longue – Cozy Lounge Sofa for outdoor use
Cozy Lounge Sofa chaise longue is part of the Cozy Lounge Sofa series and offers the opportunity to create more comfortable lounge arrangements with additional seating and resting space. The extended seating surface makes the module suitable for relaxed environments where guests can lean back and stay for longer periods of time – for example in hotel lobbies, receptions, café areas, trade fairs and event lounges. The chaise longue can be used on its own as an inviting lounge space or combined with the other modules in the series to create larger sofa arrangements. The simple design without armrests makes it easy to place in various interiors, while also contributing to a calm and professional look. The Cozy Lounge Sofa chaise longue is available in dark grey and taupe, allowing it to suit both modern and warmer lounge interiors.
Heavy-duty olefin upholstery with extra protection
The cover is made of 100% olefin. The durable material gives the sofa a robust and professional surface, suitable for environments with regular use. The solid-colored finish creates a calm and uniform look, while piping along the edges highlights the module’s shape and contributes to a refined finish.
The cover has a water-repellent surface and an internal TPU coating. The coating functions as an additional protective layer between the outer fabric and the filling, making the module better suited for outdoor use and professional environments where the furniture is regularly exposed to handling, wear and varying loads.
Durable material that retains its appearance
The upholstery has an abrasion resistance of 20,000 Martindale, indicating good resistance to wear from regular use. This makes the material suitable for, among other things, lounge areas, hotels, cafés, reception areas and events.
The material’s resistance to pilling is rated grade 4. This means that the surface has a high resistance to becoming fuzzy or uneven and can therefore maintain a neat and uniform appearance over time.
The cover also has a rub fastness rating of 4–5. Rub fastness describes how well the color remains in the material when the surface is exposed to friction. The high rating means that the color rubs off only to a very limited extent in both dry and damp conditions.
High resistance to light and weather exposure
The upholstery has a lightfastness rating of 8 according to ISO 105-B02. This means that the color has a very high resistance to fading when exposed to light. This is a significant advantage for outdoor use, where the furniture is continuously exposed to sunlight.
Colour fastness when exposed to weather has been rated grade 4 according to ISO 105-B04. The fabric therefore has a good ability to retain its colour and appearance under changing weather conditions. To prolong the sofa’s lifespan, it should nevertheless continue to be protected from prolonged rain and stored in a dry place when not in use.
In addition, the fabric is temperature-resistant from −20 °C to +70 °C. The cover is therefore designed to withstand the significant temperature fluctuations that may occur during outdoor use and storage.
Eco-friendly choice
The fabric also complies with the EU’s REACH regulations for chemical substances and is, among other things, intended to limit the use of problematic chemicals in textiles and other products.
Easy and stable assembly of multiple modules
The sofa modules are designed so that they can be quickly and easily connected into a complete sofa arrangement. At the bottom, the modules are connected with practical clips that help keep the parts stable during use. At the back, they are secured with a discreet Velcro strap that is fed through a ring and tightened.
The connecting brackets are made of SS304 stainless steel, providing a strong and durable connection. The combination of clips, Velcro and brackets helps ensure that the modules stand closely together and uniformly without easily shifting. At the same time, the layout can be quickly changed when the room’s design or use changes.
The flexible assembly makes the series particularly suitable for lounge areas, receptions, hotels, cafés, trade fairs and event environments, where the furnishings often need to be moved and adapted without extensive assembly.
Practical construction and soft lounge comfort
The base of the module is made of black Oxford polyester and equipped with a zipper and nylon buckles. The practical design supports assembly, handling, and the sofa’s daily use.
The filling consists of surplus pieces of foam, which together provide a soft and relaxed seating comfort. The construction supports the sofa’s informal lounge look and makes it suitable for areas where guests need to be able to sit comfortably and relaxed.
Vacuum-packed delivery
The sofa is delivered vacuum-packed, so it takes up less space during transport and storage. After unpacking, the foam filling gradually expands, after which the module achieves its full shape, fullness, and soft lounge comfort.
Maintenance and outdoor use
Cozy Lounge Sofa is designed for outdoor use, but should be protected from continuous or heavy rain. When the sofa is not in use, it is recommended to store it in a dry place or place it under suitable cover.
The upholstery is cleaned by spot cleaning. The sofa must be completely dry before it is covered or put into storage, so that moisture is not trapped inside the material.
