The tabletop’s hard-wearing construction

The tabletop is constructed in several layers, each serving its own function:

• Melamine surface: The top layer is melamine, which provides a hard, durable, and easy-to-clean surface.
• 2 mm ABS edge: Along the edge is a 2 mm ABS edge that protects against bumps and impacts and provides a neat, finished look.
• 3 mm support edges made of chipboard strips: Just below the surface lies a support structure made of environmentally friendly chipboard strips, which strengthens the construction and provides better durability.
• Honeycomb core: The center of the panel consists of a honeycomb core made of sturdy cardboard. This structure makes the panel very lightweight, while at the same time stable and shape-retaining.
• 12 mm chipboard as top and bottom layer: At the top and bottom, there is a layer of chipboard that provides extra strength and allows the board to bear more weight without bending.
