Indoor table top in Dark Oak – lightweight, strong and modern

This Dark Oak tabletop is designed for professional indoor use and combines low weight with high strength. The surface features a durable melamine coating that resists heat, scratches and impacts, making the tabletop particularly suitable for cafés, restaurants, hotels and canteens. The 2 mm ABS edge in Dark Oak protects against impacts and provides a beautiful, uniform finish along the entire edge.

The tabletop is supplied without pre-drilled holes and without threaded inserts, so it can be mounted directly onto most bases using ordinary chipboard screws. Its low weight makes it easy to handle, which is a major advantage in environments where the tables are frequently moved or rearranged.

The tabletop’s durable construction

The tabletop is constructed in several layers, each with its own function:

• Melamine surface: The top layer is melamine, which provides a hard, durable, and easy-to-clean surface.
• 2 mm ABS edge: Along the edge is a 2 mm ABS edge that protects against knocks and impacts and provides a neat, finished look.
• 3 mm support edges made of chipboard strips: Just below the surface lies a support structure made of environmentally friendly chipboard strips, which strengthens the construction and provides better durability.
• Honeycomb core: The center of the panel consists of a honeycomb core made of heavy-duty cardboard. This structure makes the panel very lightweight, while also stable and shape-stable.
• 12 mm chipboard as top and bottom layers: At the top and bottom, there is a layer of chipboard that provides extra strength and allows the board to bear more weight without bending.
