This Havana Oak tabletop is designed for indoor use and combines low weight with high strength. The surface features a robust melamine coating in realistic Havana Oak, which resists heat, scratches and impacts and is easy to clean during daily use. This makes the tabletop suitable for cafés, restaurants, hotels and canteens, where the furniture needs to withstand heavy use. Along the edge is a 2 mm ABS edge in Havana Oak, which provides an attractive, seamless appearance while also protecting against knocks and impacts.

The tabletop is supplied without pre-drilled holes and without threaded inserts, so it can be mounted directly on most bases using standard chipboard screws. Its low weight makes it especially easy to handle during setup, dismantling, and cleaning.

The tabletop’s durable construction

The tabletop is constructed from several layers, each serving its own function:

• Melamine surface: The top layer is melamine, which provides a hard-wearing, durable, and easy-to-clean surface.
• 2 mm ABS edge: Along the edge is a 2 mm ABS edge that protects against bumps and impacts and provides a neat, finished look.
• 3 mm support edges made of wood chip strips: Just beneath the surface lies a support structure of environmentally friendly wood chip strips, which strengthens the construction and provides greater durability.
• Honeycomb core: The center of the board consists of a honeycomb core made of sturdy cardboard. This structure makes the board very lightweight, while also stable and dimensionally stable.
• 12 mm chipboard as top and bottom layer: At the top and bottom, there is a layer of chipboard that provides extra strength and allows the board to bear more weight without bending.
