Size and overall layout
Start by first measuring your office environment. How many employees need to sit there, and how many desks do you need space for? Is it an open-plan office with a large office environment, and how is the office environment divided? Or do you have small closed offices for one or more people? It may also be that you need many different types and sizes of desks so that they fit precisely in the various locations.
Does your desk fit your work tasks?
The desk must fit the individual employee and their work tasks. Does the person need extra space for papers and documents, or does the employee primarily use the desk to have a computer on? Is there a need for more than one computer at the same desk?
