We have a large selection of giant parasols suitable for both large and small restaurants, and we keep a large part of our parasols in stock for fast delivery. Giant parasols are easy to operate and allow you to combine several using a modern gutter system. The parasol canopies are also wind- and weather-resistant, so you do not have to worry about the changeable Danish summer weather.

What size parasol should I choose?

Our range of parasols includes both smaller parasols, which are perfect for casting pleasant shade in haven or on the patio, and larger parasols that provide shade over a larger area and are particularly well suited for, for example, outdoor dining at cafés and restaurants. The sturdy and wind-resistant parasols are particularly suitable for providing shelter from the changing Danish weather, and the canopies made of quality fabric are durable and have high colour fastness, which prevents fading caused by the sun and ozone. They are also easy to operate, and for larger areas, several can be combined using a smart gutter system that also diverts water.

Which parasol is best suited for a terrace/garden?

Our range includes a number of smaller parasols suitable for haven or the patio. Although the parasols are smaller in stature, the quality of both the frame and canopy is still high. Roma hanging parasols, Lyon and ALU-SMART series are some of the parasols we recommend for smaller areas. All the parasols are characterized by their aesthetic appearance, ease of use, and high quality.

Can you get parasols with a logo?

Yes, at Zederkof, it is possible to have a logo or other text printed on the parasol canopy. Parasols are excellent advertising columns, allowing you to have your company logo, text or other relevant print applied to the canopy, which also makes the parasols suitable for rental or marketing at trade fairs, markets or festivals.

How do I maintain my parasol?

A parasol is designed to stand outdoors, and the parasols in our range are all highly resistant to wind and weather, but parasols are still just parasols and can easily become unsightly if they are not maintained. Extend the life of your parasol with a few useful maintenance tips:

• Start by removing as much dirt as you can with a soft brush
• Mix water with a little dish soap and wash the entire parasol thoroughly
• If there are algae on your parasol, you can remove them with regular algae remover
• Make sure to wash the frame with a cleaner suitable for the material
• Remember to cover your parasol with a cover when it is not in use

Can you use your parasol incorrectly?

Yes, you actually can. Therefore, we have a number of good tips for you regarding the proper use of your parasol.

• If the parasol is not fully extended, there is an increased risk of damage caused by wind/gusts.
• No parasol can withstand being open in bad weather. If the parasol breaks due to bad weather, the warranty does not cover any damage that may occur as a result.
• Before closing the parasol: Turn off any mounted lights or heat lamps
• Ensure that patio heaters have cooled down before closing and therefore cannot damage the parasol canopy
• Ensure that the telescopic system can move freely
• Parasol fabric that gets caught between the ribs when opening/closing the parasol causes wear marks and damage to the parasol fabric. Wear marks/damage resulting from incorrect operation of the parasol are not covered by the warranty. When the parasol is 90% closed, pull the parasol fabric out from between the ribs and fold the fabric in the same direction around the frame. Then secure the parasol fabric with the included elastic strap
• Ensure that the elastic strap is tightened sufficiently so that the braces cannot move

The parasols are covered by a product warranty that covers manufacturing defects. Damage caused by the weather or other external factors is not covered by the product warranty under any circumstances.
