Guide to resetting the height-adjustable table if it does not work
We all know it. You are ready to work, but your height-adjustable table is not working. It can be frustrating, especially if you need to adjust the table’s height to work comfortably. But don’t despair. There are solutions, and often it involves resetting your height-adjustable table so that the table’s functions are restarted.
Often, there is no fault with the frame or the control box. A reset is typically necessary when the table has been moved or the height adjustment function has not been used for a while.
First, however, you should check that all cables are connected properly.
Here’s how to reset your height-adjustable table
There may be a slight difference in how a reset is performed depending on which model is being referred to. But if you follow these steps, the method will work for the vast majority of height-adjustable tables.
On our tables with an easy frame, it is quite straightforward. Here, you just need to press and hold the button down for 5-10 seconds until it beeps and “jumps” a little up when the reset is complete.
On other models, you must do the following:
- Drive the table all the way down
- Press the down button for 5-10 seconds until the frame beeps and possibly “jumps” a little up as a sign that it has been reset. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.
- Hold both the up + down buttons at the bottom for 5-10 seconds.
- Hold down the button at the bottom for 5-10 seconds until a beep sound occurs.
The table has now been reset and is working again.
