This tabletop in Sawcut Oak is designed for indoor use and combines low weight with high strength. The surface features a robust melamine coating in natural-looking Sawcut Oak, which resists heat, scratches, and impacts and is easy to clean in daily operation. This makes the tabletop suitable for cafes, restaurants, hotels, and canteens, where the furniture needs to withstand a lot. Along the edge is a 2 mm ABS edge in Sawcut Oak, which provides a beautiful, cohesive expression while also protecting against bumps and impacts.

The board is delivered without pre-drilled holes and without thread inserts, so it can be mounted directly on most frames with standard chipboard screws. The low weight makes it extra easy to handle during setup, takedown, and cleaning.

The tabletop’s durable construction

The tabletop is constructed in several layers, each serving its own function:

  • Melamine surface: The top layer is melamine, which provides a hard, durable, and easy-to-clean surface.
  • 2 mm ABS edge: Along the edge sits a 2 mm ABS edge that protects against impact and blows and gives a nice finished look.
  • 3 mm support edges made of chip strips: Just below the surface lies a support structure of environmentally friendly chip strips, which strengthens the construction and provides better durability.
  • Honeycomb core: The center of the board consists of a honeycomb core made of sturdy cardboard. This structure makes the board very light, yet stable and shape-retaining.
  • 12 mm chipboard as top and bottom layer: At the top and bottom, there is a layer of chipboard that provides extra strength and allows the board to carry more without bending.
