Indoor tabletop in Dark Oak – light, strong, and modern

This tabletop in Dark Oak is designed for professional indoor use and combines low weight with high strength. The surface is a durable melamine coating that resists heat, scratches, and impacts, making the board particularly suitable for cafes, restaurants, hotels, and canteens. The 2 mm ABS edge in Dark Oak protects against shocks and provides a beautiful, uniform finish along the entire edge.

The board is delivered without pre-drilled holes and without threaded inserts, so it can be mounted directly on most frames with standard chipboard screws. The low weight makes it easy to handle, which is a great advantage in environments where the tables are often moved or rearranged.

The tabletop’s durable construction

The tabletop is constructed in several layers, each serving its own function:

  • Melamine surface: The top layer is melamine, which provides a hard, durable, and easy-to-clean surface.
  • 2 mm ABS edge: Along the edge sits a 2 mm ABS edge that protects against impact and blows and provides a nice finished look.
  • 3 mm support edges made of chip strips: Just below the surface lies a support structure of environmentally friendly chip strips, which strengthens the construction and provides better durability.
  • Honeycomb core: The center of the board consists of a honeycomb core made of sturdy cardboard. This structure makes the board very light, yet stable and shape-retaining.
  • 12 mm chipboard as top and bottom layer: At the top and bottom, there is a layer of chipboard that provides extra strength and allows the board to carry more without bending.
