Installation instructions for embedding pipes for giant umbrellas
The placement of the embedding pipe is measured precisely in relation to buildings, trees, lamp posts, other umbrellas, etc. Be aware that there should be a good distance, minimum 20 cm. to others umbrellas or similar, when the umbrella is deployed, the parasol can swing.
- Use the placement tube to mark the drill hole where the parasol should be placed.
- Drill a hole with a soil auger with a diameter of 20 cm to a depth of at least 100 cm to keep the concrete frost-free.
- Small stones are filled in the bottom of the hole about 7-10 cm.
- Fill almost to the top with wet concrete, leaving space for placement pipes and casting pipes. Important to keep the threaded holes free of concrete
- Place the placement pipe in the concrete level with a level.
- Place the embedding pipe 8 mm below the top edge of the placement pipe, so that the plug, with a thickness of 8 mm, is level when installed.
It is important that the base is level; otherwise, the parasol will be crooked.
Always follow the instructions from the concrete supplier regarding the procedure and drying time.
The parasol must not be set up in strong wind / strong gusts of wind
