Product description
Corner module – Cozy Lounge Sofa for outdoor use
Cozy Lounge Sofa corner module is part of the Cozy Lounge Sofa-series and makes it easy to create cohesive lounge areas with corners and more inviting sofa arrangements. The module is designed to connect the other elements in the series in angled configurations, allowing the lounge interior to be adapted to both small and large spaces. This makes the corner module particularly suitable for hotels, reception areas, cafés, trade fairs, and event environments where flexible seating areas with a calm and professional look are needed. With backrests on two sides, the module creates a more secluded and comfortable seating area while contributing to a cohesive lounge experience. Cozy Lounge Sofa corner module is available in dark grey and taupe and fits naturally into both modern and warmer interiors.
Heavy-duty olefin upholstery with extra protection
The upholstery is made of 100% olefin. The durable material gives the sofa a robust and professional surface, making it suitable for environments with regular use. The solid-color finish creates a calm and uniform look, while piping along the edges highlights the module’s shape and contributes to a polished finish.
The upholstery has a water-repellent surface and an internal TPU coating. The coating functions as an additional protective layer between the outer fabric and the filling, making the module better suited for outdoor use and professional environments where the furniture is regularly subjected to handling, wear and varying loads.
Durable material that retains its appearance
The upholstery has a durability rating of 20,000 Martindale, indicating good resistance to wear with regular use. This makes the material suitable for lounge areas, hotels, cafés, reception areas, and events, among other settings.
The material’s pilling resistance has been rated grade 4. This means that the surface has a high resistance to becoming fuzzy or uneven and can therefore maintain a neat and uniform appearance over time.
The upholstery also has a rub fastness rating of 4–5. Rub fastness describes how well the colour remains in the material when the surface is exposed to friction. The high rating means that the colour transfers only to a very limited extent in both dry and damp conditions.
High resistance to light and weather exposure
The upholstery has a lightfastness rating of 8 according to ISO 105-B02. This means that the color has a very high resistance to fading when exposed to light. This is a significant advantage for outdoor use, where the furniture is continuously exposed to sunlight.
Colorfastness under weather exposure is rated grade 4 according to ISO 105-B04. The fabric therefore has a good ability to retain its color and appearance under changing weather conditions. However, to extend the sofa’s lifespan, it should still be protected from prolonged rain and stored in a dry place when not in use.
Additionally, the fabric is temperature-resistant from −20 °C to +70 °C. The cover is therefore designed to withstand the significant temperature fluctuations that can occur during outdoor use and storage.
Environmentally friendly choice
The fabric also complies with the EU’s REACH legislation on chemical substances and is, among other things, intended to limit the use of hazardous chemicals in textiles and other products.
Easy and stable assembly of multiple modules
The sofa modules are designed so they can quickly and easily be connected into a complete sofa configuration. At the bottom, the modules are connected with practical clips that help keep the parts stable during use. At the back, they are secured with a discreet Velcro strap that is threaded through a ring and tightened.
The connection brackets are made of SS304 stainless steel, providing a strong and durable joint. The combination of clips, Velcro and brackets helps ensure that the modules stand closely and uniformly without easily shifting. At the same time, the setup can be quickly changed when the room’s layout or use changes.
The flexible construction makes the series particularly suitable for lounge areas, receptions, hotels, cafés, trade fairs, and event environments, where the furnishings often need to be moved and adapted without extensive assembly.
Practical construction and soft lounge comfort
The module’s base is made of black Oxford polyester and equipped with a zipper and nylon buckles. The practical construction supports assembly, handling and the sofa’s daily use.
The filling consists of leftover pieces of foam, which together provide a soft and relaxed seating comfort. The construction supports the sofa’s informal lounge look and makes it suitable for areas where guests can sit comfortably and relax.
Vacuum-packed delivery
The sofa is delivered vacuum-packed, so it takes up less space during transport and storage. After unpacking, the foam filling gradually expands, after which the module achieves its full shape, volume, and soft lounge comfort.
Maintenance and outdoor use
Cozy Lounge Sofa is designed for outdoor use, but should be protected from continuous or heavy rain. When the sofa is not in use, it is recommended to store it dry or place it under suitable cover.
The upholstery is cleaned by spot cleaning. The sofa must be completely dry before being covered or put into storage, so that moisture is not trapped in the material.
